Top five must have WordPress plug-ins 2017

There are lots of great available plug-ins to help add that extra bit of functionality to our WordPress websites, but not every one of them can make the cut. In this post, we’ve thrown together five of our most used and favourite plug-ins of all time! These plug-ins have helped us add some awesome functionality to our website and we hope they can do the same for you.


1. Compress JPEG & PNG images FREE

Compress is designed to help make your website faster by optimizing your JPEG and PNG images. Every time you upload a new image it automatically optimizes it so you won’t need to do anything. One of our favourite things about this plug-in is that it displays an overview of the amount of space you’ve saved since using the plug-in.




2. Yoast SEO FREE

Yoast SEO is an awesome plugin which guides you all the way to create better content and improve your ranking on search results. It focuses on creating the content which is useful to the users as well as technically SEO friendly. The goal is to help the users, gain trust and sustain the rankings which they call sustainable SEO.




3. Divi Anything Slider DIVI membership required

With Anything Slider, you can literally slide anything as the name suggests. This will allow you to use any Divi built-in modules in slides or you have the option to use almost any 3rd party modules you have. This plug-in is really useful and there’s nothing that really compares to it that’s available, not to mention the limitations are very small.



4. Font Awesome FREE

Do you find yourself constantly wasting time looking for an icon, having to repeatedly download them and re-upload them to WordPress? Font awesome will dramatically shorten the process for you, by simply using a bit of shortcode supplied on their website you will have instant access to hundreds of icons.




5. Google analytics FREE

Save yourself hours of searching time and import your google analytics straight onto your WordPress account by using the Google Analytics plug-in. We found that this plug-in is incredibly convenient, It’s not ideal constantly have to switch between tabs and searching through websites; this plug-in enables you to have all the key analytics for your website in the comfort of one place.
